WiLife Helps Restaurant Owner Keep Employees Honest

I own a small restaurant/bar in Oregon. My opening success gave me a little operating capital and I decided to purchase a video surveillance system for security and other reasons. Which one do I purchase, that was the question.

The day after I began to research I read an article in the Wall Street Journal about WiLife and the benefits of their technology. Very soon after reading this article I purchased a base system and one camera.

I grew up in the Ronald Regan era, "Trust but verify…". So I did not tell my staff that I was installing a surveillance system. Less than a week after installation I caught one of my employees, stealing money, another employee abusing illegal drugs in my office and a customer slyly walking off with a very expensive pool cue.

Of course all of these activities happened late at night when I could not be there. As a result of installing the cameras I was able to deal with each situation swiftly and cleanly and have had little to no problems from that time forward. I have added another camera since that time and have caught my staff doing "Great things": staying busy, cleaning tables, and not holding after hours parties. They all know the eye in the sky is watching. Every one of my staff has thanked me for installing the WiLife system. "It makes my job that much easier" said one MOD and I definitely agree with that!

Unfortunately, my attorneys advised me that I should not share my clips. However, I will say the expression on one former employee’s face while he was misbehaving then discovering the camera is priceless!

I have recommended WiLife to friends, business associates due to ease of installation, remote viewing and record keeping.
