Chris and Amy have been using the system for 11 months. Besides being “the easiest home surveillance system to set up and monitor,” they believe it has “proved itself 100%.”

Chris and Amy decided to install the WiLife Video Security System last October because of vandalism occurring in their neighborhood.

The event that really sold the product for them occurred the night of August 25Th 2007 at11:00 pm. After returning home from a pizza night out with the family, they parked the car in the driveway and closed the garage door, which has Amy’s car and Chris' motorcycle inside it. After they had been in bed approximately 30 minutes, they heard loud sounds coming from the driveway, as if someone was throwing a basketball against the cement over and again. They didn't think anything more about it until it happened three other times.

Chris got out of bed and went to the PC that was running the WiLife Command Center -- to go see what his camera pointing at the driveway was seeing. But he didn’t see anyone, just his car sitting in the empty driveway. So he walked outside to check the car and the sides of the house. Again, Chris didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. So he walked back into the house and went back to bed.

However, the next morning, when Chris left the house to hop into his car to go to work, he immediately saw the two left tires were completely flat. He walked around to the other side and both the tires on the right side were also flat. Chris explained how he inspected the tires and found approximately eight-and-a-half inch stab markings in each tire.

He immediately ran into the house and played back the previous night’s video footage. And sure enough, the cameras captured two eighteen-year old males with switch blades in the driveway. “The camera worked so well in a low-light front drive area,” Chris added.

He called the police, reported the crime, and mentioned that they had footage of the teens from their WiLife security camera. After showing the police the video segment, the police had both boys in custody within seven hours.
