First Place: M. Kelly: Biggest Toilet Paper Job Ever

My WiLife cameras captured this “attack” at about 3:00 a.m. when two buses filled with kids pulled up and then preceded to toilet paper our house. It was all done in fun (and we really didn’t mind) but I thought the WiLife cameras did a great job of capturing the action. Had we wanted to take any further action, the cameras would have allowed us to do that.

I added the sounds effects because we showed the video to a bunch of the kids afterwards, but the video is all original from our WiLife cameras.

Second Place: J. M.: The Bad Fall

I had purchased a Wilife camera to monitor my home and my Yorkies "Willie" and "Mollie". The cameras help me feel safer.

On this night, I was running late. My shift starts at 7:45 PM. I forgot something upstairs so I went to retrieve it. I have a bad back with spinal stenosis and so I go very slow on the stairs. Coming down the stairs, I fell.

Third Place: J. London: The 2-Night Burglary

My family and I went on vacation for a few days in August 2009. When we returned, we found the house had been burglarized. I had one WiLife camera monitoring the back porch and one in the basement. The first thing I did was check the cameras and my computer. They had taken the back porch camera, but they left the basement camera and the computer. Sure enough, I had them on video.

I edited and posted the video on YouTube. It has been viewed over 1200 times. It was also picked up by a local news station, which increased interest and led to a few tips. Some of my property has been recovered by the police from a buyer of the stolen goods because of one of these tips.

The one comment I get from everyone is how clear the video is, and they want to know what kind of camera it is, and I tell them: “Logitech WiLife!”
