First Place: S. Atherton: How the purse disappeared

We live in the Florida Keys and we don't have much crime. I bought my first Alert System about a year ago. I have had other brands and there is no comparison. I had put a call into my wife to ask her to come to one of our houses, as I needed her help. I got tired of waiting and called to find out why she had not shown up yet. She informed me she had taken our dog out before she came to meet me. When she got back in the house, she could not find her purse anywhere.

Later, we searched the house and cars. There was no purse. I asked her to relate the day’s events. She explained that she had been home all day, except for taking the dog outside for about ten minutes, as we have always done for twelve years. With this in mind, I went to the Alert System and found where a lady had came into the house and taken the purse off the dining room table.

I called the police and they came out 30 minutes later. I showed them the video and while they were trying to get finger prints, I looked at my Alert App on my Iphone and saw where she came back thirty- five minutes later and tried to get in again. She told the police she was returning the purse. But two of my 750E cameras saw that she did not have any such purse to return. I had her in jail within 24 hours and had the purse returned also. We only lost $ 11.00.

Without the Alert system, my wife would never have known where her purse had gone. The police also wanted to know what brand and model system I had installed. I have put several of the Alert Systems in some friend’s homes. I will continue to tell everyone about the Alert System. It truly is the very best system. Thank you Logitech Alert Systems.
