July 2010 Customer Success Story Winners
First Place: C. Stewart: Alerted with text message: Man breaking into house
On Fathers Day, I was at my girlfriend's when I received a text message from my Logitech WiLife Security System.
From the picture it sent me, I could tell the individual had something in his hand and he was up to no good. So I returned home, with my finger on the speed dial button for the police. After a quick and cautious survey of my house, I found a broken window. I reviewed the security video and phoned the police. The officer instructed me to email the video to the head of detectives. From the video, they were able to identify the person and apprehend him. Turns out he was not only wanted for another break-in in the neighborhood and but an assault on the home owner, as well. Thank you Logitech WiLife.

Second Place: M. Nichols: Bible Patrons taking mail from outdoor mall mail boxes
Two women were passing out bible scripture books in the business corridor. All of a sudden, one of them decides to look in a mailbox and take the contents from it. Our Logitech WiLife camera works great.
Third Place: J. Tang: The purse thief
On July 6, 2010, it was a hectic day at work, especially after a 3 day holiday weekend. My employee thought she saw someone steal a purse, but she didn’t know who the purse belonged to. At the end of the shift, however, she realized that it was her purse the thief grabbed. Having remembered the approximate time that she saw the purse being taken, she told me to review the recorded videos on the Playback screen Logitech Wilife. The result showed the thief taking the purse, hiding it under his shirt/jacket, and then quickly leaving their business. We contacted the thief and told them to bring the purse back. Well, it has been hard to retrieve the purse, but at least we know what happened. Thanks to WiLife.
