One morning, I walked out to get into my SUV and noticed that the front end had damage to it. Where could this have happened? Was it when I was the mall? If so, I figured I could not do anything about it. My husband said let’s review the Logitech Wilife video to make sure it did not happen at our house. After review the video recordings of the SUV, we plainly saw that my son had hit the car and did not say anything. I asked him if he knew anything about the damage to my car and he replied, “No.”

And then I showed him the video. He said “well, I guess I’m busted and grounded.”

C. Barker: Ability to Check in on elderdly mother brings peace of mind

I have an elderly mother who lives by herself. We live in close proximity to each other. Because of this, my two sisters would panic and constantly call me to check on Mom, especially if they could not reach her by phone. (Mom oftentimes has forgotten to hang up the phone after using it.)

I got the idea of putting a camera inside in her house after see your video security system for sale at Sam’s Club. Mom mostly stays inside of her house and usually sits at a certain spot on the couch in the large room where she watches tv and eats. So I placed the camera in this large room. I can see the couch that she sits on, and also the kitchen area. The camera allows my sisters and me to check on her (with her permission, of course) from work or anywhere else there is an Internet connection. This has given us a peace of mind about Mom and allows me to make the emergency visit if her phone is truly off-the-hook; or, for any other reason if I cannot reach her.

I have told my story to others. One of my sisters is a registered nurse and specializes in the care of elderly people. We have made a formal presentation to a group of caregivers and talked about our setup using your camera.

We bought your camera system because our neighbor had a break-in to their garage and lost all their tools. Thank God for your wonderful video cameras.

I was on the computer when I saw our truck in flames. Our neighbors were trying desperately to put them out. I ran out with a fire extinguisher. If we didn't have your cameras, we would have lost our truck. The truck’s only damage was to the wiring, which we were able to rewire. Thank you for your awesome cameras.
