WiLife uses your Windows PC to record the video from your cameras and to serve video to your remote devices. You need to have your PC on and running for the system to operate.

Remote Viewing Requirements

Remote Viewing allows you to view live video from your WiLife system over the Internet using a compatible browser, cell phone, or wireless handheld.

System Requirements

  • Computer that matches or exceeds the minimum system requirements
  • Always-on broadband Internet connection like DSL, Cable Modem, or T1
  • WiLife Online account and properly configured WiLife software

To better help you determine if your computer and Internet service are compatible with the Remote Viewing requirements, we have included a link to an online bandwidth speed meter. Click on the link and follow the instructions on the page to determine your PC’s connection upload and download speed.

Note: For the test to be as accurate as possible, make sure that no one else in the house is using the internet connection (PC or Voice Over IP phone).
